Forest Shepherd Visual Development

In this 3D Isometric adventure game a born witch searches the forest for villagers who go missing after the community cuts down an ancient tree.  

 

Forest Shepherd is a story about parent - child relationships. After a small village cuts down an ancient tree, the spirit of the forest abducts the villagers and traps them in the forest. Playing as a born witch, the player will explore the forest in search of their lost parent, the High Priestess. In doing so, the player will rescue the other villagers and return them to their children in the village. During their search the player will learn about their arcane powers and the intricacies of witchcraft, something the High Priestess detests about her daughter. This magical endeavor will involve item collecting and crafting to create potions, spells, weapons and gardens. The adventure takes the player on an emotional journey as the born witch contemplates her explosive relationship with her mother. Enlightened by her fellow villagers' experiences with their loved ones, the Witch will have to choose what will become of her and her mother. 

 

But, at the crossroads ahead, it will take two to determine the final path.
