HOBBY ELECTRONIC
Hobby Electronic is a reverse engineering project where I recreated these headphones. Using a digital caliper to collect exact measurements of each part I then applied them to Rhinoceros 3D in order to create an exact replica of the object.
I chose these headphones to reverse engineer for several reasons. Their symmetrical design allows for easy duplication of parts, enabling me to showcase each component twice. These headphones are from the 1980s, adding a sense of nostalgia and historical significance. The materials used in their construction are unique, contributing to their distinct character. Additionally, their aged and weathered condition tells a story of their past, offering a
glimpse into their history and the passage of time.
